Thanks for sharing your memories of William Saroyan; I really enjoyed it. I'm now reading Saroyan's "Days of Life and Death and Escape to the Moon", written in 1967 while he was living in Paris and Fresno, California (the latter being a city I am proud to consider my adopted hometown). I am rediscovering the joy of reading Saroyan these days, and am always glad to see others doing the same. But then, Saroyan also said his writings would be discovered again and again by future generations, and he was right. Thanks again. Brian Covert in Kawanishi, Japan

I am writing from the Hardy Tackle Co. During a visit with Tom last week he offered up an endorsement of our new fly rods. We would like to use the photo of him in his studio in an upcoming story. Tom says it is fine with him as long as I can work our the detail with you.

This is a nice story you wrote and it is a beautiful photo.

Let me know how you would like to proceed.

Best, Jim Murphy. President. Hardy North America

I just today finished reading the Bobby Keys book. It was a good read.
